The British Columbia First-Time Home Buyers’ (FTHB) Program is a provincial initiative designed to eliminate or significantly reduce the Property Transfer Tax (PTT) for those entering the housing market. Since the landmark changes introduced in the 2024 Budget, the program has been expanded to better reflect current market values.
